“The aim of this Special Issue of Sustainability is then to highlight recent trends in environmental and resource economics to provide insights for sustainable paths at the global and local scales. Topics include, among others, pollution and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, land-use change (including agricultural change, deforestation and urbanization), ecosystem service valuation and nature’s contribution to people (NCP), biodiversity conservation and offsetting, and renewable and nonrenewable resource management.”
