This one-day event will (try to) cover (1) an overview of the CAP reform process, presenting the key (and contentious) issues related to it; (2) the relative merits and disadvantages of the various policy proposals made so far; (3) presentation/discussion on various tools and methodologies for the monitoring and evaluation of CAP (ex-poste, ex-ante; criteria). Also, given the certain degree of renationalization of the CAP, it may be interesting, on one hand, to analyze and compare the choices of the different Member States and regions and their impact on agricultural trajectories; and to share and discuss the initiatives and efforts of various stakeholders such as the foundation sector in this regard.
