The theme of the programme was ‘The crisis in agriculture: is the future in the meadow ? Together with François Purseigle and Thomas Borrel, Sophie Thoyer explains how we have moved on from a family farm model to a range of practices, covering a wide variety of realities and posing equally diverse challenges. Sophie Thoyer adds that this heterogeneity and all the challenges that go with it are amplified at the European scale.
