The international mobility project submitted by Thierry Blayac as part of the Explore#2 call of the I-SITE MUSE has been selected. Following the submission of 150 applications, 134 proposals were assessed by an Evaluation committee comprised of 17 members,[1] in line with the call guidelines. A ranking list was presented for final selection to the I-SITE MUSE Board who decided to select 63 mobility proposals.
In the autumn of 2019, Thierry Blayac will therefore join Sweden for one month and will be hosted by the Northern LEAD Logistics Centre, which is an initiative between University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology.
Our research project aims at studying the different strategies to be implemented to ensure environmentally-friendly urban freight transport. The Northern LEAD Logistics Centre is a leading research team on sustainable urban logistics issues and develops research on autonomous vehicles, delivery robots, and zero emission modes. Nevertheless, it should be highlighted that the success of any technological innovation undoubtedly depends on its ability to be adopted by the various economic actors. It is precisely on this point that our scientific collaboration project wishes to focus
[1] In line with the call guidelines, the evaluation committee was comprised of members from the University of Montpellier Academic Council (CAc), representatives of MUSE 5 research clusters, LabEx representatives and representatives of I-SITE MUSE consortium member institutions.
